Three women from the activist group “code pink” have been convicted on Wednesday for disrupting the confirmation hearing of U.S. Attorney Jeff Sessions.
One of the women Desiree Fairooz was convicted of disorderly conduct and parading or demonstrating on capitol hill. Desiree wore a pink lady liberty costume and claims the only thing she did was laugh.
All three of the women pleaded not guilty of all charges; they face up to 12 months in jail.
Has justice been served? I’m sure Sessions thinks so.
